Two Rivers Beach
Dois Rios is good for surfing and fishing because, facing the open sea, the region is well served with quality fish.
Dois Rios beach is fascinating, beautiful, peculiar. its yellow sands are approximately one kilometer long. The resplendent blue-green waters and the waves that form with the open sea wind, hit the beach inviting us for a swim.
The beach was the headquarters of Ilha Grande's prison system. Today it follows a preserved place with an exuberant nature.

On both sides of the beach, freshwater rivers communicate with the sea.
The historic prison that received famous convicts, such as "Escadinha" and "Madame Satã" who were political prisoners, as well as Fernando Gabeira and the writer Graciliano Ramos. Today, the ruins and a small museum remain.

To visit the beach you can take the T14 trail of approximately 8km or by boat.
