Praia do Caxadaço - Ilha Grande
Caxadaço beach

The name Caxadaço  comes from the word cachada, which means the place to burn vegetation before planting.

With protected waters, Praia do Caxadaço forms a small bay where all that exists are calm and colorful waters. hidden by a wall of  rock facing the open sea, forming a paradise on Ilha Grande.

Approximately 15 meters long, wild, deserted, mystical, with fine sand, in golden and black tones, where a small stream of natural drinking water flows into it.

Despite being an oceanic beach, the waters  are very green and clear, and are calm because it is hidden behind a rocky point, imperceptible to sailors even when close to the coast. It is a natural refuge.

To get to the beach, you must walk along the T15 trail that derives from the T14  trail (Vila do Abraão – Vila de Dois Rios)  almost to the end of T14._cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

It is a trail through dense forest, very beautiful and pleasant to walk, light to medium level or  you can go by boat.
