Recreation Beach
The beach is extremely attractive for those who like beaches with practically crystalline waters and want to stay in touch with the nature of its Ecological Reserve in an area of environmental protection.
The biggest and busiest beach in the neighborhood, it has the strongest waves and the cleanest waters on the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
It has several surf and beach volleyball schools. It is approximately 3 kilometers long. It is very frequented by surfers and is the scene of many bodyboarding championships and television recordings.
