Praia Funda - Rio de Janeiro
Deep Beach

Praia Funda is a beach about 300 meters long, almost deserted and little known, little explored and is very close to two other beaches considered wild.

Praia Funda is located in Barra de Guaratiba, west of Rio de Janeiro, a little away from the center and the main tourist attractions, about a 2-hour drive, in addition to the trail that you will have to take to visit the beach.

Check out  some  images we selected for you:

A  trail that starts at the end of Parlon Siqueira street, in Barra de Guaratiba. The degree of difficulty of the walk is light, but it is always recommended to do it in daylight and accompanied.

The beach is a real delight, with the appearance of being on an island far from civilization, suitable for bathing, clean, inviting, but always good to remember about the dangers of the sea, there are no lifeguards, take all the_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_ possible precautions.

To get to this wonder it is necessary to follow the trail that starts at the end of Praia do Meio and starts initially with the rocks and then continues through the bush.

As it is less used, it is well closed and the  point of arrival on the beach requires more care because it is steeper and in a mixture of bushes and stones.

Enjoy this wonder.
