Capim Açu trail
The Capim Açu Trail received this name due to the huge grasses up to two meters high found along the route, it is very close to the Mirante do Sancho, on a dirt road, in Vila da Quixaba.
It is recommended that wear appropriate footwear and clothes that protect your skin from excessive contact with branches and plants, as the entire trail presents different types of terrain and vegetation.
Your adventure begins in an exciting way, on a steep slope that leads to the VOR, a lighthouse used by the Brazilian Navy to guide ships and aircraft, located in Ponta da Sapata.
And it will end at the famous and beautiful Praia do Leão, on the other side of the island.
It is a trail with variety and quite enjoyable.

The entire route is approximately 7km surrounded by the wonders of Noronha, seaside viewpoints, caves and hidden pools in the rocks, as well as beautiful landscapes that are little explored by the vast majority of visitors who come to the island.
A duration of approximately 06 hours, and crosses the region considered to be the most distant and wild on the island, where an area of preserved Atlantic Forest is located.
The route will give the view both to the Mar de Dentro side and to the Mar de Fora side.
